Our purpose in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offering and of our web presence. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised.


Use of cookies

In order to make your visit to our website as attractive as possible, and enable the use of certain functions, we use so called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. Contact Form and E-Mail Contact

Description and Scope of Data Processing

There is a contact form on our website which can be used to contact us electronically. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered into the input screen will be transferred to us and retained. This data includes:

  • name;
  • phone number;
  • e-mail address.

We will obtain your consent to process the data in the course of the sending process while referring to this privacy policy. Alternatively, we can be contacted using the e-mail address provided. In this case, the user’s personal data transferred with the e-mail will be retained. In this context, data will not be disseminated to third parties. The data will exclusively be used for processing the conversation.

Legal Basis for Data Processing

The legal basis for data processing where the user has given his or her consent thereto is point (a) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR. The legal basis for the processing of data transferred in the course of sending an e-mail is point (f) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR. If the e-mail contact is aimed at concluding a contract, an additional legal basis for processing is point (b) of Art. 6(1) GDPR.

Purpose of Data Processing

Processing personal data from the input screen serves solely to handle the contact. In case of any contact by e-mail, the necessary legitimate interest is in processing the data. The other personal data processed during the sending process serves to prevent abuse of the contact form and ensure the security of our IT systems.

Retention Period

The data will be erased once it is no longer required to achieve the purpose of its collection. For personal data from the input screen of the contact form and that sent by e-mail, this is the case when the relevant conversation with the user ends. The conversation ends when it can be seen from the circumstances that the relevant case has been conclusively clarified.

Option of Objection and Elimination

The user can withdraw his or her consent to personal data processing at any time. If the user contacts us by e-mail, her or she can object to the storage of his or her personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data stored in the course of contact will be erased in this case.


Data protection declaration for usage of Matomo

This website uses Matomo, a web analytics open-source software. Matomo uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address anonymized prior to its storage) will be stored on the server of the service provider in Germany. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

The processing of data is based on the legal provisions of Section 96(3) TKG (German Telecommunications Act) and of point (a) (consent) and/or point (f) (legitimate interest) of Art. 6(1) GDPR.

Our purpose in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offering and of our web presence. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised.

Privacy Policy for the Use of XING

Our website uses functions of the XING network. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Whenever you access one of our websites that contains functions of XING, a connection will be established to the XING servers. According to our knowledge, no personal data will be retained in this process. In particular, no IP addresses will be retained, and the usage behaviour will not be evaluated.

On our website, you can find plug-ins of the LinkedIn social network respectively of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“LinkedIn”). The LinkedIn plug-ins are recognisable by the corresponding logo or the “Recommend” button. Please note that upon your visit to our website, the plug-in establishes a connection between your respective Internet browser and the LinkedIn server.
