• Bone blocking, osteoporosis, thrombophlebitis

Advice
The CDS Ankle Brace has been designed for the use as redressement orthosis only. Due to the construction the brace may not be used for continuous walking, e.g. not as drop foot orthosis for peronaeus paresis. The lower sole shall allow to cover short distances at home or at hospital.

** The foot bedding (insole) has to be made individually by the specialised trade in order to guarantee an optimal bedding of the child‘s foot. The special construction of the sole part of the paediatric CDS Ankle Brace facilitates the individual adjustment through the orthopaedic technician.
Hinges
 The hinges of the CDS Ankle Brace are infinitely adjustable between -15° and 30° extension. Spring tension can be adjusted in 15 steps and is indicated by an indicater. Spring tension can be activated and deactivated without using a tool.
